Appointments
We know you have many choices when choosing a Podiatrist in Annapolis, MD, so we have made requesting an appointment a simple process via our Web site. New patients should arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment. Please let us know if you are a member of a health plan and remember to bring your insurance information and any referrals with you. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact the office as early as possible - we request 24 hour notice for cancellations.

Emergencies
If an emergency occurs during office hours, please feel free to call our office and we will fit you in. If an emergency occurs after office hours or on weekends or holidays, call Anne Arundel Medical Center at (410)481-1000 and ask the answering service to reach Dr. Modlin or Dr. Madi to be contacted in a timely manner. Dr. Modlin and Dr. Madi take consults at the hospital and participates in the ER coverage rotation.

Billing
We are happy to work out payments on an individual basis depending on your needs. Listed below are the various insurance plans we are currently participating in but this changes frequently. Please call to inquire if we participate with your plan even if you don't see it listed. Co-pays are due at the time of service.

Insurance
If you have secondary insurance that covers either the remaining balance or your total care, please let us know. If we don't participate in that plan, we will be happy to submit your claim to the insurance carrier and wait for 30 days. If your balance has not been paid after the 30 day period, you will be responsible for full payment at that time. Please call our office to verify acceptance of your insurance carrier.

Referrals
We consider a referral to be the highest compliment we can receive. Please know that we are here to help your family members and friends should a need arise. If you are referred from your primary care physician, you will be returned to his or her care once the current problem is resolved. This ensures that you receive the most comprehensive care possible.

Prescriptions
For prescriptions please call during regular office hours and be sure to provide our office with your pharmacy phone number, date of birth and phone number where you can be reached. Please keep in mind we do not have access to your medical records during evening hours, weekends or holidays.
